JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of our expansion in the Telecom area, we are looking for a driven Telecommunication Technician/Fiber Technician who wants to join the growth journey of Division Teknik. In the role of Telecommunication Technician/Fiber Technician, you will be part of a team working with operations, maintenance, standard improvement, and new construction. We work broadly within the telecommunication field. This may involve work with optical and copper cables, traffic information systems, detectors, and data communication. Traffic safety is directly dependent on the functionality of the installations, and therefore the work is responsible, with safety always prioritized.

We are looking for someone who wishes to be based in Mellansel, Örnsköldsvik, Umeå, or Vännäs. The eventual placement will be determined based on proximity to one of Infranord's establishments where existing staff are already present.

The position requires flexibility as travel and work during nights and weekends are part of the job description. On-call duty at home may occur. We are looking for someone who enjoys a varied working method and who is solution-oriented even in more complex situations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least a high school education in electrical engineering, preferably with a telecommunications focus or what we assess to be equivalent experience
• Category B driving license (manual)
• Good ability to express oneself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

It is advantageous if you have:

• Post-secondary education in railway-specific telecommunications
• Experience working with telecommunications in the railway industry
• Experience in data/telecommunication and low current work
• Work experience in fiber technology
• Certification in fiber technology
